The Business Awards Committee are inviting interest for new committee members to take part in planning and delivery of a fabulous Business Awards program in 2022! The Awards Committee currently meet on a fortnightly basis (in person and/ or online) to ensure a smooth delivery of the Business Awards program. The Business Awards Committee are volunteer group who work with the Awards Event Coordinator, EO and Chamber Executive to bring together this annual celebration of the Macleay Valley Business community. The Macleay Valley Business Chamber held it's August Chamber function last week on Thursday 23rd August where they recognised the contributions of local business as Awards partners and heard from Guest Speaker Elizabeth Jackson, 2018 Miss Kempsey Showgirl. The evening brought together local business members to meet and greet and share in acknowledging some of our generous local contributors.   The evening saw Certificates of Appreciation handed to attending 2018 Macleay Valley Business Awards Sponsors.   The evenings Guest Speaker Elizabeth Jackson spoke about her journey with the Miss Showgirl Competition; Elizabeth has lived in Kempsey most of her life.  She is 22 years of age and currently study a Bachelor of Laws.
