The Macleay Valley Business Chamber held it's August Chamber function last week on Thursday 23rd August where they recognised the contributions of local business as Awards partners and heard from Guest Speaker Elizabeth Jackson, 2018 Miss Kempsey Showgirl. The evening brought together local business members to meet and greet and share in acknowledging some of our generous local contributors.   The evening saw Certificates of Appreciation handed to attending 2018 Macleay Valley Business Awards Sponsors.   The evenings Guest Speaker Elizabeth Jackson spoke about her journey with the Miss Showgirl Competition; Elizabeth has lived in Kempsey most of her life.  She is 22 years of age and currently study a Bachelor of Laws. Thanks to an overwhelming response, all 200 Macleay Valley Business Awards Gala Dinner tickets have been sold in just 15 days. To be hosted on Saturday 27 August at the Kempsey Macleay RSL, the Awards will celebrate excellence in business and showcase outstanding local businesses. Supported by presenting sponsor Macleay Valley Coastal Holiday Parks (MVCHP), the Awards Gala dinner will be made up of a 3 course meal, entertainment, special guests and award categories ranging from Young Entrepreneur through to Business Leader.
