This November, the Macleay Valley Business Chamber is encouraging locals and visitors to shop, eat and explore in South West Rocks, with a month-long Shop Local campaign supporting participating businesses in the lead-up to Christmas.
From 1 to 30 November, shoppers can collect stamps when they spend at participating South West Rocks businesses, with every stamp giving them another chance to win.
There are two $250 shopping vouchers to be won, with each winner choosing which participating business they would like to spend their voucher with.
How it works
1. Pick up a Shop Local card
Collect your card from any participating South West Rocks business from 1 November.
2. Shop local and collect stamps
Receive one stamp for every $20 you spend in a single transaction at a participating business. Spend $40 and receive two stamps, spend $60 and receive three, and so on.
3. Every stamp is an entry
Each stamp gives you one entry into the prize draw. You don't need to fill your card before entering. The more stamps you collect, the more chances you have to win.
4. Fill in your details
Add your name and contact details to your card so we can contact you if you win.
5. Hand in your card
Drop your card off at any participating South West Rocks business by 10:00pm on Monday, 30 November 2026.
6. Go in the draw
Two winners will each receive a $250 voucher to spend at the participating business of their choice. Winners will be drawn at 5:00pm on Friday, 4 December 2026.

The prizes

Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is the Macleay Valley Business Chamber Inc. (MVBC).
2. Promotion period
The South West Rocks Shop Local This Christmas promotion runs from Sunday, 1 November 2026 to Monday, 30 November 2026.
All entry cards must be submitted by 10:00pm on Monday, 30 November 2026.
3. How to participate
Shop Local entry cards are available from participating South West Rocks businesses during the promotion period.
Customers will receive one stamp for every complete $20 spent in a single transaction at a participating business.
For example:
- $20 to $39.99 = 1 stamp
- $40 to $59.99 = 2 stamps
- $60 to $79.99 = 3 stamps
Amounts below the next $20 threshold do not carry over or accumulate between transactions.
4. Entries
Each valid stamp equals one entry into the prize draw.
Entry cards do not need to be completely filled to be submitted. For example, a card containing 10 valid stamps will receive 10 entries in the prize draw.
Entrants must provide their name and contact details on the card for their entry to be valid.
5. Entry cards
There is no limit to the number of entry cards a person may submit during the promotion period.
Once a card is full, participants may collect another card and continue earning stamps. Each valid stamp on every card submitted equals one entry into the prize draw.
Entry cards are the responsibility of the participant. Lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be replaced with previously earned stamps. A new card may be collected, however any stamps recorded on the original card cannot be transferred or reinstated.
6. Submitting entries
Entry cards can be handed in to any participating South West Rocks business during the promotion period.
All entry cards must be submitted by 10:00pm on Monday, 30 November 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.
7. Prizes
There are two prizes, each valued at $250.
Each winner will receive a $250 voucher for the participating South West Rocks business of their choice.
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
8. Prize draw
The prize draw will take place at 5:00pm on Friday, 4 December 2026.
Each valid stamp represents one entry into the draw. Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received.
A person may only win one prize. If the same person is drawn for both prizes, a redraw will be conducted until a second, different winner is selected.
9. Notification and claiming of prizes
Winners will be contacted using the phone number and/or email address provided on their entry card.
Winners must claim their prize within 15 days of being notified. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within this period, MVBC reserves the right to conduct a redraw.
10. Publication of winners
Entrants may choose whether they consent to their name being published for promotional purposes by completing the consent section on the entry card.
Consent to publication is not a condition of entry.
11. Valid stamps
Stamps must be issued by a participating business for a qualifying purchase made during the promotion period.
Stamps have no monetary value.
MVBC reserves the right to reject an entry where it reasonably believes stamps have been altered, reproduced, obtained fraudulently or otherwise obtained contrary to these Terms & Conditions.
12. Participating businesses
Only purchases made at businesses officially participating in the South West Rocks Shop Local This Christmas 2026 campaign are eligible to receive stamps.
A current list of participating businesses will be available on the Macleay Valley Business Chamber website.
13. General conditions
MVBC reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If circumstances outside MVBC's reasonable control affect the operation of the promotion, MVBC may modify, suspend or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable legal requirements.
MVBC's decisions regarding the administration of the promotion and validity of entries will be final, subject to applicable law.
