Thanks to an overwhelming response, all 200 Macleay Valley Business Awards Gala Dinner tickets have been sold in just 15 days.
To be hosted on Saturday 27 August at the Kempsey Macleay RSL, the Awards will celebrate excellence in business and showcase outstanding local businesses.
Supported by presenting sponsor Macleay Valley Coastal Holiday Parks (MVCHP), the Awards Gala dinner will be made up of a 3 course meal, entertainment, special guests and award categories ranging from Young Entrepreneur through to Business Leader.
MVCHP Marketing Manager Danielle Cooney says the Awards Gala dinner is shaping up to be an exciting event.
“This year, the Chamber have upped the ante, making sure the Awards are attractive and engaging, while ensuring a quality Awards Gala Dinner” Ms Cooney said.
Macleay Valley Business Chamber President Gary Scott says the event is proving to be a milestone for the Chamber, this being the first time the Chamber has coordinated the Awards.
“We (Macleay Valley Business Chamber) feel it is very important to recognise those in business. Be it through stand out customer service, the introduction of innovative business practises or even starting a new business; small to medium business is the backbone of the Macleay Valley and the Business Awards provide an opportunity to showcase business while providing a chance for business owners and their employees to get together for a formal evening of networking and socialising” said Mr Scott.
“The success of the Awards is largely due to the generosity of our sponsors and efforts of the Award Committee”, said Mr Scott.
“Our Committee have word tirelessly to ensure the Awards are a success and we have been heartened by the positive response from the business community, with a total of 19 sponsors for the Awards”, said Mr Scott.
A Sponsors Cocktail Party will be held on Wednesday 17 August at the Old Bank Gladstone to personally thank the generous Awards Sponsors and Judges that have helped present the Macleay Valley Business Awards.
